Richard W. Sabor has lived in Flippin, AR since 1995 after retiring from business in San Diego, CA. He creates wood art, one of a kind decorative boxes and one of a kind furniture, using salvaged and reclaimed wood. He uses both hand and power tools. He has been creating wood art for about 73 years. His signature is both carving and inlaying table tops with both flowers and butterfiles. He sometimes will carve or inlay deer and long horn cattle. Also, He has been known to carve eages. fish, wild hogs, and rams. I do home and office furniture, dining sets, kitchen islands, bedroom sets, office tables and desks. I also do commissions for unique pieces and wood carvings. I have participated in art shows from San Diego, CA, Arlington, TX, Memphis, TN, Madison, WI, Springfield, MO, Flagstaff, AZ and countless local and regional shows.
