Directions: From the traffic light at the west end of AR62/412 (bypass) in Mountain Home, take 62W to Yellville. Continue into Yellville passing County Court House, through city of Yellville until you get to the top of hill, then turn due west on Hwy 62W. Your destination is on immediate right.

Dana Johnson, a premier Arkansas fine artist, promotes art and artists through the Yellville Palette Art League, konwn for its fine arts gallery and art-based workshops. A member since the league's inception, Johnson serves on its board of directors, as president, the driving force behind the organization's efforts to bring fine arts to the community.

The Texas born artist, now at home in her beloved Ozark Mountains, has matered many media. including oils, pastels, watercolor, pen and ink and china painting. Johnson's Coveted landscapes, floral and wildlife paintings and commissioned portraits are included in private collections throughout the southern and western United States and several European countries and featured in numerous galleries.

Mainly self-taught, with some art education background, Johnson's natural talents, inspired by her ever-changing surroundings, have led to other successful endeavors in illustrations and graphic arts. Johnson Also has offered insturction in basic drawing, pastels, oils, watercolor, china painting and ceramics throughout her career.

Johnson is owner, instructor at her business located in Yellville, on HWY62W. Dana serves as an officer and active member of numerous art leagues in Northwest Arkansas. She is current President of Ozark Regional Artist Council.
