Carole grew up in the horse country of Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Her love for all animals and an ability to draw inspired her to attend The Art Students League in New York City. Here, she was able to study illustration with Earl Mayan (Saturday Evening Post) and Steven Kidd (New York Daily News). She also studied anatomy with Robert Hale. Later, she furthered her education in England at Sir John Cass College, studying drawing, painting and illustration. She continued her study of anatomy at the Royal Academy. Upon returning to the United States from Europe, Carold was noticed by Mrs. Charles Shipman Payson, who had just put together the Country Art Gallery in her home town of Locust Valley, Long Island. Here, Carole's work grew in popularity.
To date, Carole has paintings all over the world and her works of art can be found in the homes of numerous discrimating collectors. Carole is now expanding into a line of greeting cards and has many other exciting projects in the works.
