I love being a production potter and working with my husband, Joe Jostes, a master craftsman. Creating multiples of daily-use ware and learning to keep forms and designs fresh lend themselves to endless creativity. I’m inspired by the beauty of 18th-century pottery, especially German redware, with its simplicity and patterns of slip-trailed work.
