Directions: From traffic light at the west end of AR62/412 in Mtn Home (by pass take 62 West to Yellville). Turn left at Hwy 14 East (by Fred’s). Take Hwy 14 to Hwy 235, make a right turn. Watch for Art Odyssey sign. Continue on Hwy 235 about a ¼ of a mile to the next Art Odyssey sign, and make a right to go up the hill. Follow the curve- do not make turn-, and the home and studio are the third house on the right. If the driveway is too crowded, you may also park on the grass along the street outside of the fence.

Misty Orlove traveled extensively as a child and in the military.  Arts and crafts always intrigued her, but she didn’t get the chance to develop her interest in them until retirement.  After a 20-year career in the Navy as a MWR or Quality of Life Director, Orlove retired and moved to Arkansas.  Her job allowed her to travel around Europe where she was able to experience the local art.  Her first real art endeavor was with teacher Jo Rowell. 

For the last three years, Orlove has worked with oil (her passion), watercolor and acrylics on gourds.  She has received multiple first place prizes for her fine art; including a Best in Show.

Orlove takes special orders online and attends ten to twelve shows per year.  “I am grateful for this time in my life, where I can develop my art and enjoy my passion for painting,” she says.
