During my younger years, I was encouraged to go to art school. But, as life has it, I got sidetracked. That yearning was ever-present me, and my desire to paint was first expressed in the medium of watercolor. I developed skills that sustained a 25-year career painting murals and wall finishes as a decorative painter.
Over the past 3 years, my yearning to create was satisfied when I picked up my artist brushes again and started painting in acrylics. Using bold, unexpected colors. Whatever my subject matter: humans, animals, or florals. I love to use complimentary colors and bits of patina and texture in my underpaintings.
