Annette Pettit

I began my own art odyssey as a child making pencil drawings, then expanded my media to acrylic painting and printmaking in college.  In retirement, I have discovered pastel painting and focus primarily on things I admire:  pets, wildlife, and landscapes. With pastels, I love having the pigment directly in my hand with no other tools and not having to mix colors or wait for the paint to dry.  Realistic painting is my primary style, but I also lean toward the abstract in some paintings.
