Dana Johnson

My chosen subject matter is nature: whether it’s landscape, wildlife, or a floral painting. I use traditional materials: watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylics, or a combination of several media. I hope to capture movement and life – making the brush dance and sing,  hoping everything is captured in a spontaneous dance on the surface of the canvas.  

My goal is to inspire and excite those who see my artwork. Hopefully, the viewer will be encouraged to look more carefully at the world around them and discover beauty in unusual places.
