I paint impressionistic landscapes in oil on canvas. The inspiration for my paintings is drawn from magical moments of nature that appear with the changing light, color, and atmospheric conditions.  This triggers the ultimate sensory experience. As I paint, the energetic brush strokes dance across the water and caresses leaves on trees.  The paint reveals the breeze across the water and the grass. Connecting to the earth through the action of painting is “being home”.
