Lyn Baker

I’ve been involved in making art, in one form or another, for 45 years. Be it Oil and water color painting, music, woodworking.  I am 

happiest, and perhaps my best, when creating.  I hope that happiness shines through the work I do. I create to this end:  “May the art my heart has conceived and hands have made touch the hands and hearts of those who have never known me, but now will.” I am mostly self-taught but received some formal training while attending the University of Arkansas; from Jo Rowell, Dana Johnson, and Nancy Pyle, and woodworkers Greg Pennington and Rudy Lopez, live exhibited with the John C. Campbell Folk School and The Donald W. Reynolds Library.
